Accessibility Considerations
- Purchasing one ticket grants you access to both days of the conference. While attendance on both days is welcomed and appreciated, it is certainly not required. Come as you are. :)
- As volunteers working with a limited budget, we strive to keep conference prices as low as possible. That said, we have shifted our budget around in order to reserve 10 free tickets - If you are (1) a member of Syilx Okanagan Nation, or (2) a staff, student, or community member facing financial constraints, please connect with erin.delfs@ubc.ca to reserve a free ticket (honour system, no questions asked).
- While we will be using a microphone and speaker system to amplify sound, we are also trying to obtain Live Closed Captioning for this event. If you are interested in staying in the loop as to whether or not we are able to obtain this service, feel free to reach out to erin.delfs@ubc.ca as well.
- Conference venue is accessible via stairs and elevator.
